The remodeled rooms were excellent, especially with the giant sinks. The slow check-in process was frustrating.

It was ideal base for traveling to Port Arthur, I was glad to stay there. The room was brand-new and clean and I thoroughly enjoyed courteous staff. The location was magnificent, for example, Central Mall was at a short distance from the hotel. It also was in the middle of jackson. The restaurant was not very far from the property. My stay was fine here...

Well, the bed squeaked like it was auditioning for a horror film, and as a guest, I defintely expected to be notified of the pool closure. Imagine my shock! To top it off, a complimentary gesture for my discomfort would have been nice, but clearly, that's too much to ask for here. It's a shame, really.

For a better experience, request an iron ahead of time as the staff may forget if you ask at the last minute.

Hawthorn Extended Stay By Wyndham provided an excellent experience during my recent work trip. The King Efficiency Suite was roomy and clean, with well-maintained amenities including a comfy bed and a spacious kitchen area for meal preparation. The complimentary wired internet access was a significant advantage for my business needs, allowing me to work efficiently. The dry cleaning and laundry services were convenient, ensuring I stayed sharp and presentable for meetings.

Check-in took longer than expected, which disrupted my schedule.

My best decision yet!

The location was fantastic for our family outing, allowing quick access to local attractions. The room was clean and cozy, setting a comfortable atmosphere. I'm sure it will be even better!

Why I'm torn on this

The location was great!

Customer service seems to be declining with disinterested staff, and issues like the broken TV remote and lack of basic amenities are concerning.

Carpet in hallway had an unpleasant odor.

The suite provided ample space for my family . The rooms were clean was good, despite some hiccups.

The bed squeaked annoyingly with every move, which disrupted sleep. We were not informed about the pool closure beforehand, leaving my kids bored. A bit of tile at the bottom could prevent scratches. I also encountered maintenance issues with the TV remote and other fixtures that were in disrepair.

Great Location but Room for Improvement

The suite provided ample space for my family. Clean rooms were a plus, but the squeaky bed made it hard to sleep. A heads-up about the pool closure would have been nice, especially with kids. We enjoyed nearby restaurants, perfect for feeding hungry mouths after a long day.

Plus, the kids enjoyed the on-site jacuzzi, open year-round. The room was spacious enough for my large family and our small baby.

My children wanted a better selection of family-friendly activities.
